bikin Icon pake Ranfo Editor

Ide awalnya cumin buat nampilin Icon di sebelah alamat URL di browser, gimana ya caranya??? emoticonnah, mbah gugel ngasih artikel yang selengkapanya bisa dibaca disini. tak kasih cuplikan :

Internet Explorer ("IE") 5.0 and above has a facility where, if someone bookmarks your website (ie puts it in their "Favorites" menu), it associates a particular icon with your website in the bookmark. It tries to obtain that icon by first requesting for "favicon.ico" from the directory of your web page. If it cannot find such a file, it will try to obtain it from the root directory of your website, failing which, it will simply use a default icon for the bookmark.

Akhirnya nyoba juga bikin pake photoshop emoticon

Karena filenamenya harus faveicon.ico berangkat deh ke save-as (File –> Save As …) dan masalahpun muncul, ternyata photoshop ga bisa nyimpen file ke format .ICO emoticon, cilaka nona… baru tau saya

Konsultasi lagi deh ke mbah gugel, nemunya sofwer icon builder yang lucu, mini, en ga pake ngistall, namanya Randy’s Freeware Icon Editor, yang mo nyoba bisa donlot disini.

Ukuran calon icon uda default ama programnya 32×32 pixel …

selanjutnya bikin icon yang sama kayak yg di-Photoshop, hm… sepertinya perlu garis Bantu neh PS-nya biar kliatan pixel per-pixelnya, biar gampang ngopi manual ke Ranfo-nya :D

lanjut yuk….

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

karena nguplot ke geocities, jadinya tag-nya diubah jadi

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.geocities.yahoo.com/all_itz/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

Save and Seeepppp… selese dah.. muncul kan… emoticon
