4 tahun yang lalu, melalui RisTIE perkenalan dengan dunia web development membawa alit buat belajar lebih mendalam, mulai dari manajemen konten, desain visual, slicing, HTML, dan CSS, hingga PHP dan MySQL. iTz personal web pun berubah dari waktu ke waktu, dan meningkat dari statis menjadi dinamis. klo ga salah di geocities ada tuh list personal site-nya alit

dan hingga 2 tahun yang lalu, itz personal site (demikian personal site saya biasa saya sebut) sudah mengalami perubahan hingga 6 kali.

setelah hampir 2 tahun ini bergelut dengan blog yang membawa saya bertemu beberapa teman baru, saya memutuskan untuk membuat rumah baru saya di internet di alamat ini.

beberapa kali bekerja sebagai programmer dan berkali-kali merancang CMS membuat saya memutuskan untuk membuat CMS yang ter-optimal yang saya bisa untuk digunakan pada sebuah web profile.

dan keluarlah AMBER v 1.0 (A.M. Bramantya”s Extensible Room). memang belum sekelas wordpress atau berbagai macam template engine yang sudah banyak beredar di internet. but itz suits me very well till now.

dan tentunya masih banyak kekurangan dari engine ini dan mungkin juga dari situs ini, rencananya seluruh post di blog terdahulu akan saya pindahkan kesini. so for now.. sorry for the inconvenient and please enjoy itz personal site v.7

eh ga tau kenapa akhirnya sekarang malah jadi suka nyariin friwer alias barang gratisan, hohoho. asline ngono kepikiran gara2 sofwer2 berbayar itu makin baru versinya makin berat.. berat n berat buat kekuatan desktop item dirumah, masio xp-ne si desktop ya masih bajakan… lom kuat beli yg ori… untungnya ajah neh notebook oldschool da pake XP Home Ori dari sononya (ada stiker Product Key dibawah), hihihi

mulai dari ACDSee yang diganti pake FastStone.. MySQL Front di migrasi ke Heidi SQL… Nero burner jadi StarBurn.. Nero image creator ke LC ISO Creator.. Image drive-nya pake Magic Disc.. dll.. dll.. ama yg trakhir… Kaspersky Internet Security ke AVGFree… whew… masih banyak neh yang harus dicari lagi…

ya memang sih friwer-friwer yg biasanya ukurannya kecil2 itu blom bisa 100% ngegantiin fungsi sofwer2 berbayar berukuran ratusan Mb, tapi klo nurut aku sih uda cukup bagus lah para friwer itu bekerja sesuai fungsinya… hemat space en efisien… masio akhirnya isi tu komputer lom bener2 bebas dari bajakan…

tapi klo emang pengen migrasi ke yang bener2 100% halal ya kayaknya Linux and Unix bisa dipertimbangkan… hihihi…

aku mo make fitur css2 yang buat opacity di header, jadi headernya biar
bisa transparan gitu, cuman ga tau kenapa tulisannya ga bisa tetep
dibikin solid , pause dulu deh.

cara
tradisional memang cukup menguras otak… biar gambar sedikit, tapi tetep
aja loadingnya luambat, kenapa sih oggix ga pake div ajah… ide
desainnya sih hasil adaptasi aja dari beberapa themes-nya wordpress
(lupa apa ajah), pengennya sih adopsi banyak, cuman kayaknya koq neh
blogsome emang masih banyak kurangnya . OH om admin.. upgrade dunk servernya… eh bukan server sih yang harus di-apdet, lebih pas malah fitur wordpressnya yang harus ditambahin

a. Do visitors know which page they are viewing?

The best way to ensure your visitors don’t get lost on your website is
if you title your pages. Make sure this title is the title in your
navigation area too. On your home page, or the one that is your
“index.html” or “index.htm”, you don’t have to title the page “HOME
PAGE”. It could be titled “About Us” or a page you want your visitors
to see as soon as they open your website. If your “index.html” page is
your “About Us” page, then put the header/title “About Us” at the top
of the page. In other words, every page should have a heading so that
your visitors will know what page they are currently viewing.

b. Can your visitor easily get to other pages using your navigational area?

Make sure that if you have 5 main pages in your website, there are 5
links in your navigation area with the exact titles as the titles on
your pages. With this in mind, don’t make your titles too long. If you
have articles on your website, make one link titled “Articles” in your
navigation area. On the “Articles” page, list your article titles in
the body of that particular page because the article titles will be
longer.

c. Does my background color and text color make a good combination?

You will need to take this into serious consideration. If your color
scheme is unappealing, visitors will leave no matter how good your
subject matter may be. If the combination causes eye strain or
headache, your visitors will leave your website and may not return.
Examples: blue background with red text, lime green background with
yellow text, red background with yellow text, etc. One other background
I would like to mention: patterned/tiled backgrounds. These can be
overwhelming to the eye. No text will be readable on these types of
backgrounds – at least not without difficulty. If you must have a
patterned/tiled background, make it look like a watermark – full color
patterned/tiled backgrounds will send your visitors away quicker than
ice cream melts on a hot stove.

d. Are my photos too big or do I have too many on a page?

If it takes longer than a few seconds for your webpage to load, then
your images are too big or you have too many on a page. It is not
necessary for a photo to take up the space of an entire browser window.
Too many photos, without a doubt, will slow your website down to a
crawl, even on a high-speed connection. Most people will leave your
website before the images finish downloading. You can make the images
small enough for a slideshow or create thumbnails so that your visitors
can select which images they want to see. Once your visitors click on
the image to see a larger view, make even that image small enough to
see all the details, but not big enough to slow down your website.
There are quite a few image editors out there to use – some are even
free. I use Macromedia’s Fireworks to optimize my images. They have a
tool where I can make my images smaller without losing clarity.

e. How do I test my pages for errors and user-friendliness?

Have a few other people look at your website. If you don’t think that
friends and family will want to hurt your feelings, find a site with
your color scheme; tell them that this website is not your website, but
you would like their opinion on the color scheme and if it is difficult
to read. You can also post your URL to various forums to ask them for a
critique of your website. If this is your first time testing, you can
ask for feedback so that you can get a variety of comments. Keep a copy
of the answers you get so that in the future you can refer back to what
people have said about certain features. Later on, you can put together
a checklist to go by for every website you design. I wouldn’t use just
one checklist to check all websites, but a checklist would be a good
start. Whether you are a beginner or expert website designer, you will
always need to test multiple times. You have a great deal of choices to
check for errors on your site. I like to use W3C’s validators to check
for errors and to bring my websites up to standard.

Making
your website user-friendly is one of the best things you can accomplish
for yourself and your visitors. Taking the time to ensure usability is
nothing compared to how many visitors you will lose if you have a
not-so-friendly website. Ensuring readability, fast downloading, and
performing multiple tests will get you started in the right direction

a lot of fun there, although the stage is small enough for the vocals to do their dance but they made a very interactive show with all the audience. terribly sorry that we (as players) didn’t come out with our best Sound Out, dunno why.. there’s some problems with my sound out and galih’s bass set.

Almost all web development
projects require photography, illustration, or maybe web template at
once. that’s why web developer needs a designer, to gather and meets
clients requirements, display an acurate, natural, original, and the
one and only works..

But sometimes, when times, human resources, and budget are constrained, some stock sites could be place to depend on. from stock sites we can find royalty-free photograpy, artwork,
ilustration, and web templates. its because, purchasing from stock
sites often costs much less than hiring a designer (on both times and
budget).

As
a designer and a web programmer my self, i used to built the design my
self, or have others to design as a recommendation from my boss.

And actually i never download or purchased web templates from stock sites, coz i rather built it my self (Need some??? just call me ).
But i used to purchasing those royalty-free images from stock sites,
coz i’m able to combine photos better than built it from zero.

There are many stock sites with large collections and varieties prices (and better to choose the free one ). here’s my favorite :

  extra costs. Just the best Stock Photography, Vector illustrations,
  Flash Files, and Videos, at prices for everyone.

Setelah koordinasi yang cukup lama, akhirnya berbondong-bondong deh kesana setelah menunggu genteng yang berlagak menjadi gentlemen mengantar calon mammanya naek travel.. , bareng ama Galih, Genteng, Gamma, Chebby, Mendhol, Teguh, Bocah, ama Wam.. tak kiro seng paling cilik si galih, tiba’e koq malah si Wam, hehehe… janjian jam 3, budhal jam 5 alhasil nyampe pun jam 5.30..

Dan ternyata disana pun da rame anak2 UABB, lha?? yang sakit koq kayak gak sakit? sek iso mesem dan bergaya, lha iki buktine.. eh, sejarah.. sejarah.. adek pake piyama….. (eh.. iku sikile sopo nylentang nang kono?? )

setelah cukup lama ngobrol ga jelas, dan guyon2 yang ga bisa "bebas" (istilahe galih),kekeke… cabut deh biar seng jarene loro istirahat , dan sampai tulisan ini diangkat, masih belum ketahuan cewek bersuara treble ini benarnya sakit apa, mungkin jadi malah cuma mo pindah tempat tidur aja kali ya?

Language is the tool we use to filter and define the world. It’s our first and most powerful tool, and separates us from the armadillos of the world. Language enables us to make connections, build complexities, and to influence each other.

It also has the power to divide us: it crystalizes our differences, and helps us antagonize and irritate each other.

Even in its distilled form (commonly known as “content”) language is often under-estimated, under-valued, and under-funded. How many times have we seen companies import bland, cheap information instead of hiring talented, knowledgeable writers to write fresh, original, interesting content? (Why are editors the second ones to go — right after the writers?)

Why do we — as web-builders — overlook even the most basic aspects of language so frequently when we build our sites? Is language so transparent in our lives that we fail to recognize its importance? Do we even think about it at all? If we do, who manages the language in our sites?

What is the message you want to convey?

Somewhere out there, someone’s asking, “Language Czar, project roles, enforcing… What’s this mean to me, and my one man show, anyway?”

Tone is a core part of the user experience, and these sites succeed because the site language has been thought out, planned, and managed. We should all be so successful.
